2026-27 Far West Masters Scholarship News
We would like to have athletes in the Far West Masters Scholarship Program from all Far West ski clubs. We have outstanding funding resources and would like to get as many Far West athletes involved as possible. This past season we gave out $50,000. The application process mimics the college application procedure, so it is rigorous but a great teaching tool.
Masters Scholarship Program applications are now open and available on the Far West Skiing website . They are due September 15th, 2026. We encourage all Far West Skiing Alpine athletes 13-20 years old to apply. Scholarships are awarded based on a combination of (and in order of importance): exemplary work ethic, academic scholarship, citizenship, financial need, and race results. Scholarship recipients receive funding for their skiing, access to fall training camp, access to US Ski Team Ski race suits, college scholarships, internships and most importantly ability to make relationships with Masters Racers who will pass on their love for ski racing.
